Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT: THESE REPAIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“AGREEMENT”) FORM YOUR AGREEMENT WITH Manta Watches LTD. THE TERMS HEREIN ARE IN ADDITION TO ANY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER CONSUMER LAW. YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR LOCAL CITIZENS ADVICE SERVICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

 

  1. Service and Repairs.

    1. Services - For services of both Quartz, Mechanical and automatic watches Manta Watches will use an external watch workshop to perform these services (BUSINESS  NAME). They will service your watch or another item as described by you for the estimated charges stated unless such costs are revised with your prior oral or written consent.

    2. Labor and Parts Used.  Manta Watches when needed will use new parts, refurbished or manufacture parts unless specified otherwise but will be specified in our written invoice and estimate.

    3. Postage Service. If you opt to use our Postage services in accordance with Manta Watches Shipping instructions, Manta Watches will provide a prepaid shipping label if requested by the customer. If item(s) are sent without the Manta Watches Prepaid label it is the sole responsibility of the customer to arrange delivery and insurance cover. After the service is complete Manta Watches will return the repaired item to you unless specified otherwise. 

    4. Loss or Damage of your item(s) fall to the responsibility of the individual shipping the item and/or the insurance cover provided by third parties and delivery companies. Manta Watches cannot be held responsible if item(s) that are lost or damaged during shipping or when in possession of external watch repairers. Unless liable through negligence or Consumer Law.

    5. Changes to service. Manta watches reserve the right to change services when necessary.

    6. No sale to minors. Repairs or services under these terms are available only to those who are 18 years or over.

    7. Postage and Diagnostic Fee. Manta Watches may charge a minimum fee  of £15 (Shipping Included) if said Item(s) a. Do not need to be repaired when with us. B. Parts are no longer available and therefore work cannot proceed. C.Fake or counterfeit items will not be worked on. D.If an item has been altered, broken due to negligence, Liquid, Extreme heat/cold, External modification not from Manta watches, Excess Power, Physical abuse and magnetism Manta Watches will not offer a re-service. If the Diagnostic fee has not been paid within 1 month or refused the watch will be classed as ‘’Abandoned’’ and either sold or used for parts. 

    8. Delivery. Manta watches can arrange for a courier service to either collect item(s) or have a prepaid label prepared. We can give estimates on times with delivery but cannot guarantee dates and times.  We cannot change delivery addresses. 

    9. Customer Responsibility: a. Shipping and packing instructions will be sent. It is the responsibility of the customer to pack and send the time and be responsible for adequate insurance cover and or claims made to any insurance or
